<p>Sections showing extensively necrotic tumor with few viable fragments showing groups large epithelioid cells with hyperchromatic nuclei and eosinophilic cytoplasm. Tumor cells show focal attempts at glandular differentiation as well as marked anaplasia and mitosis.</p>
<p>Gastric pyloric tumor.</p>
<p>Received six fragments of white-tan tissue measuring in aggregate 0.9 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Gastric pyloric mass, endoscopic biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Extensively necrotic, poorly differentiated (poorly cohesive) adenocarcinoma, grade 3.</strong></li></ul>
