<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node shows preserved normal nodal pattern and hyperplasia of the lymphoid follicles which retain active and intact germinal centers with tingible body macrophages. No evidence of specific granulomas. No evidence of malignancy. </p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">The patient is a known case of Hirschsprung's disease (HD), status post colostomy closure and Duhamel's operation, currently presenting with significant mesenteric lymph node enlargement</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Lymph node measured 0.9x0.8x0.6 cm, totally embedded.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Mesenteric lymph nodes, excision biopsy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Reactive follicular lymphoid hyperplasia. </strong></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul>
