<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium is hyperplastic and non-secretory. It is formed of moderately branching glands separated by cellular stroma and lined by 1-2 layers of cells. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Islands of these endometrial glands and stroma are seen entrapped deep within myometrium. Rt. ovary and Fallopian tube are unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p>Total abdomenal hysterectomy and Rt. salpingoopherectomy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingoopherectomy: uterus measured 9.5 × 7 × 5 cm, cervix measuring 3 cm in length. On sectioning, the myometrial wall thickness was 2.5 cm. The endometrium measured 0.7 cm. The uterus showed a grey area, suspected to be a fibroid, measuring 1 cm. The right ovary and fallopian tube measured</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy with unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate simple endometrial hyperplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Deep adenomyosis.</strong></li><li><strong>Cervical Nabothian cyst with mild endocervicitis with squamous metaplasia. </strong></li><li><strong>Ovary and fallopian tube are unremarkable. </strong></li><li><strong>Negative for atypia and malignancy.</strong></li></ul>
