Diagnosis
<p class="ql-align-justify">Endometrium shows hyperplastic endometrial glands, is non-secretory, it is formed of moderately cystic glands lined by 1-2 layers of cells. Stroma is cellular. No evidence of complex glandular pattern. Some of the hyperplastic endometrium are seen embedded within superficial myometrium. Cervix us unremarkable. Rt. ovary shows cystic follciles. Fallopian tube is unremarkable. No evidence of atypia or malignancy.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Postmenopausal bleeding and a thick endometrium.</p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Total abdominal hysterectomyis with Rt. salpingoopherectomy: the uterus measured 8 x 5 x 3 cm, with a cervix measuring 3 cm. Upon sectioning, the myometrial wall thickness was 1.5 cm, and the endometrium measured 0.3 cm in thickness. The attached right fallopian tube measured 5 cm, and the right ovary measured 2 x 1.5 x 1 cm.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Total hysterectomy with unilateral salpingo-oophorectomy:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Moderate cystic simple endometrial hyperplasia without atypia </strong></li><li><strong>Superficial adenomyosis </strong></li><li><strong>Rt. ovarian cystic follicles.</strong></li><li><strong>Fallopian tubes are unremarkable.</strong></li><li><strong>Negative for malignancy. </strong></li></ul><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
