Sections show hyperplastic stratified squamous epithelium with parakeratosis and irregular rete ridge elongation. A dense, band-like chronic inflammatory infiltrate—predominantly lymphocytic with scattered plasma cells—obscures the epithelial-connective tissue interface via basal cell liquefactive degeneration. No dysplasia or malignancy is identified.
