Cellular tumor composed of fascicles or whorly bundles of proliferating spindle cells with fusiform or blunt ended elongated nuclei. Anaplasia is moderate and mitosis is increased. Picture is suggestive of gastrointestinal stromal tumor, recommended for marker study (CD117, DOG1, CD34, SMA, H-caldesom, S100, and Ki-67).
