<p class="ql-align-justify">Immunostaining was done with appropriate positive and negative controls and revealed:</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>S100: </strong>showed scattered positivity in tumor cells.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Demin, Myogenin, ALK-1, CD34</strong> are negative in tumor cells.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Ki-67</strong> proliferation index about 10%.</p><p class="ql-align-justify"><br></p>
<p class="ql-align-justify">Referred block for immunistaining of previously submitted biopsy from tongue swelling (pathology number 1971-2026) diagnosed as Atypical spindle cell proliferation suspicious of rhabdomyosarcoma (on 9 April 2026).</p>
<p>One referred paraffin block and one Hx&E stained slides coded 1971-2026.</p>
<p><strong><em><u>Tongue lesion, biopsy and immunostaining:</u></em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Granular cell tumor.</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong><u>COMMENT:</u></strong></p><p>Complete excision of the lesion and follow up is recommended.</p>
